How the shed is run
Three short lists. They are on the wall by the front bench, they get repeated at the tables, and staff apply them without arguing about it.
Entry
The whole shed, kitchen included, is for people aged 18 and over.
Photo identification may be asked for at the front bench or at any table.
Staff may refuse entry, and are not obliged to explain themselves.
Assistance animals are welcome anywhere in the building.
At the benches
Chips are the venue's property, keep score and carry no monetary value.
Passing money across a bench ends the game and, if repeated, the evening.
Cards are supplied by the house; personal packs stay in your bag.
The host may reseat players so nobody is left playing alone.
Score cards are destroyed at close and nothing is carried forward.
In the room
Phones on silent; take the call at the front where nobody is playing.
Photographs of a bench you are not sitting at need the say-so of the people at it.
Service of alcohol stops when staff judge it should, and that is final.
We will book you a car home at any point in the evening, and we would rather you let us.
